If you change permissions in the DB for the user id, which is used in the WebLogic connection pool, then it won't be reflected immidiately, because a pool would be using existing connections. You have to refresh a connection pool. You can do it by logging on to Console, then navigate to connection pool settings. "Reset" butt will be somewhere in "Control" tab window.
