I think I found a decent translation of Eugene Onegin novel by A.S.Pushkin. He was so good, that I wondered if it is at all possible to translate his works without messing them up. This one seems to be ok.
With womankind, the less we love them,
the easier they become to charm,
the tighter we can stretch above them
enticing nets to do them harm.
I'm sure you know how it sounds in Russian :)
Hm... not the best quote for St Valentine's day... I guess :)
