Needs a map. Not possible to follow this discussion without a map.
Map? I guess you mean a map of that time. I don't think that a modern map would help much, besides I assume you'd easily get it from Mapquest.I'll try to find a map of 14-16 centuries in Internet. I remember that we studied this period in high school and there were maps.
