Staff at Goldman Sachs will share a record $16.46 billion (£8.36 billion) after the investment bank lifted pre-tax profits for the year to the end of last month by 76 per cent to $14.5 billion.
On average, the firm’s 26,000 staff can expect to receive at least $621,906 (£316,079) each. But bonuses will vary according to how much each individual or division has made for the company.
